May is a GREAT time to fly fish in the U.P.!
When I say things are firing up I’m talking about smallmouth, trout and steel head opportunities abound. Trout season is just starting to wind up and do to a late cold and wet spring both the steel head and small mouth migrations into the river systems are running a bit behind. This translates into excellent opportunities for any venturing angler so get out there and enjoy all that the Upper peninsula has to offer.
On the COVID 19 note, as of the 28th of May this restriction we are under is supposed to be lifted and if this does happen I will then begin booking trips again.
