Fishing Report - June smallmouth and trout fishing is on fire
What an awesome time to be in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan! We have trout season rolling along slowly but rolling along.
With that being said the rivers are finally falling to manageable levels as we have been battling high cold water all spring.
Smallie season is going full on right now and as far as the troota its off to a slow start with very light dry fly action and a slow streamer bit but again dealing with high cold water and cold evenings causing very light hatches!
The bugs Ive seen although very light are caddis, hendricksons and a few sulphurs.
I would comfortably say things are approximately 2 weeks or so behind schedule!
Until next time be safe and GOD bless!
