Fly fishing in the upper peninsula is heating up as water temps cool down

If your looking to hit the trout stream now is the time. After several weeks of above average temps we are still n the midst of a slight cool down. Early morning is with out a doubt the best time as I am seeing river temps in the mid to low 60s. Right now stones, ISOs, lt cahills and caddis are plenty. The heat is coming back though next week and it will be time to get back into the tributary water and in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula we have plenty of that.
