The dog days of summer are upon us. Michigan is one of many states that is under a heat watch right now. With the warmer temperatures come higher water temperatures. Doing things such as going barbless and quick release points are all things that are positive for protecting these fish.

Currently in the southern Central Upper Peninsula of Michigan there are like Cahill's stoneflies Caddis some leftover Brown Drake's and on certain river systems in the upper peninsula the hexes beginning.
